On Saturday, July 10, 2010 Spring Hill, TN had a ground breaking ceremony that will house the new Spring Hill Ward Church Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
This was the first time any of us had attended a ground breaking ceremony. Our Bishop spoke and the Stake President spoke. Then the Stake President and bishops and some other men got the shovels and shoveled some dirt to symbolically begin the work. My favorite song was sung at the end of the service: "The Spirit of God" It is a wonderful thing to see how much the church is growing.

The "cowboy" is the contractor/building director from Texas :)
